Sneaky Cats & Bunnies

Grades: ECE

Time: 3:45-4:45 pm 

Class Description: Sneaky cats and bunnies, using problem solving puzzles, will learn focus, listening and attention through the safety of games, and stories. We will also create our own stories (using Fairy Tales) and find challenges to work through together as a team.  These skills will develop individual and social skills, the perfect introduction into kindergarten!

Stone Soup Theatre  

Grades: 1st-5th 

Time: 3:45-4:45 pm 

Class Description: Lion King KIDS is a lively stage adaptation of the Disney classic, The Lion King, is the story of a young lion prince living in the African Pride Lands. Join us for this story of honor, resilience, and unlikely friendship. The Lion King KIDS features classic songs from the Broadway musical and animated feature film, including “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King" and “Hakuna Matata.” Each class blends theater games, imaginative exercises, and script work to help students develop acting fundamentals, ensemble skills, and self-expression. The session culminates in a 25–30 minute showing of the work created.

Class Description: Odyssey S.T.E.M Institute's enrichment program is a tactile makerspace and is ideal for those seeking to discover, develop, and evolve in their interest in robotics.

Ninja Adventure Games with Kong Academy

Grades: K-2nd 

Time: 3:45-4:45 pm 

Class Description: Ninja Adventure Games brings high-energy movement and creative challenges to students through parkour-inspired games and obstacle courses. Students practice jumping, balancing, and navigating fun missions while learning to pause, assess risks, and make thoughtful decisions. Activities are designed with multiple levels so students can start where they feel comfortable and build confidence at their own pace.  For more information click here.

Seattle Chess School

Grades: K-5th

Time: 3:45–4:45 pm 

Class Description: Whether you’ve never touched a chessboard or you’re already taking down opponents like a pro, Chess Club is your chance to level up. Students will benefit from weekly competition, game analysis and review as well as occasional study of classic chess games. Our talented instructors will help connect students with chess and teach a little history and culture along with everything they need to know to compete at a higher level. For the best possible experience, we recommend students know the names of the pieces and how they move before we start class. We'll take care of the rest!

Class Description: Originating as an African-Brazilian martial art form, Capoeira was created by enslaved Africans in Brazil as a means of self-defense and cultural expression. Capoeira is a harmonious blend of martial arts, dance, acrobatics, music, community and language. It increases agility, strength, confidence, and mental awareness. As students embrace the techniques, they also immerse themselves in a profound appreciation for the ancestors, customs, and masters of Capoeira. Our Capoeira program for kids is more than just an extracurricular activity; it's an exploration of cultural heritage and self-empowerment.

Readers Theater 

Grades: ECE

Time: 3:45–4:45 pm 

Class Description: In this playful spring enrichment class, children will bring the story of Pete the Cat and the Big Blue Sunglasses to life through Readers Theatre. Together, we’ll explore how Pete turns a grumpy day into a joyful one—using storytelling, character voices, simple costumes, and collaborative performance. Children will practice speaking lines, acting with their bodies, and working as an ensemble while building confidence and emotional awareness. This class emphasizes expression over perfection. Through theater games, shadow play, and group storytelling, children will discover how feelings can change and how friendship, perspective, and play help us see the world differently. Our session will culminate in a relaxed, child-centered share where families are invited to experience the story come alive.

Basketball 101

Class Description: This youth basketball class is designed to focus on both individual skills and teamwork, emphasizing the development of players' skills and character. The curriculum follows a progressive approach, starting with fundamental skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting, and building up to more advanced techniques. This structure helps players develop their full potential both on and off the court.

Class Description: Kids’ Carpentry is a hands-on toy building experience designed to teach practical woodworking skills with an emphasis on the safe use of hand tools. While kids construct fun and exciting projects they are also empowered to become independent thinkers–building confidence, self-esteem, and a repertoire of practical skills that will last them a lifetime!

Seattle Kids Yoga Club  

Grades: ECE–2nd

Time: 4:15-5:15 pm

Class Description: Yoga Club is the perfect way for kids to transition from the busy school day into a calm, positive afternoon. Through fun movement, playful poses, and engaging yoga games, students stay active while also learning valuable tools for self-regulation and mindfulness. 

Each class blends stretching, breathing exercises, fun props, and energetic activities that help kids release built-up energy, manage big emotions, and build focus. Students practice noticing how their bodies feel, calming their minds through simple breathing techniques, and developing confidence through movement. With plenty of laughter, creativity, and supportive guidance, kids will move, unwind, and leave class feeling refreshed, centered, and proud of what their bodies can do.

Performance Club: Become Your Favorite Character! 

Grades: K—5th

Time: 3:45–5:15 pm

Class Description:  In this creative class, students will explore costume, movement, storytelling, and stage presence as they transform into singers, artists, or animated heroes like K-Pop Demon Hunters. Through theater games, fun choreography, and costume play, students will collaborate to create a short performance to share at the end of the session. This class encourages creativity, confidence, teamwork, and self-expression in a welcoming, supportive environment. Step into the spotlight bringing your favorite character to life!

Creative Contraptions with Bricks 4 Kidz

Grades: 3rd–5th

Time: 3:45–4:45 pm 

Class Description: In this class for inventive kids, we will explore fun new ways to build autonomous gadgets using sensors and motors, and discuss how real-world robots make industries function. Students will design and create original robotic arms, paper airplane launchers, catapults and more. Then, using everything we have learned, we will construct a collaborative mega-ball-mover!
