Learning Services
The Learning Services Team is integral to Giddens School and includes our literacy specialist, math specialist, and school counselor. The learning services team works with teachers in and out of the classroom on curriculum development, planning, assessment, and teaching support. They support students with unique learning profiles through 1:1 and small-group instruction, including remediation and extension, as well as social-emotional support.
The Learning Services team also supports the school community by planning events, such as SEL Book Clubs, and Math Night, and sharing resources with faculty, staff, and families.
Working with caregivers and faculty, the learning services team develops social-emotional and academic success plans for students to succeed personally and academically.
