Family CPR Class
September 23rd from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Big Room, Giddens School
Each year, we coordinate CPR training through Merit Emergency Education for the Giddens community. The training program covers First Aid, CPR, and use of a defibrillator, for infants, children and adults. The certification you receive is good for two years. If you are interested in being a volunteer driver for field trips during the coming school year, you will need to have current CPR certification. This program is open to all members of the extended Giddens community, so feel free to share this opportunity with family, friends, neighbors, and nannies!
- Pre-registration is required by the end of the day on Wednesday, September 20th.
- Cost is $50 per person. Payment can be made by cash or check made out to Giddens School by the registration deadline, or if you would like us to add the $50 charge to your student account, register below and then stop by the main office to sign a billing authorization form. Be sure to write “CPR training” on the memo of your check. If you pay in cash, please make sure it is in a sealed envelope with the registrant’s name and “CPR training” written on it.
- Dress comfortably, because the training will involve kneeling on the floor on a mat.
- Bring a snack or sack lunch.
