For our youngest campers we offer age-appropriate activities and new
school experiences. Small groups, outside fun, and new friends makes
Giddens a great place to explore all the fun that summer has to offer!

Giddens School Summer Blast Camp 2010
For students entering K-5
K-5th Grade Registration forms here

K-1 and grades 2-5 age groupings will experience 
One field trip per week to a local attraction and fun activities that incorporate math and literacy.
Our themes for this summer are:

Critters and Creatures
June 28-July 2
Whether they are slimy or furry, slippery or feathery, share your knowledge and interest in your favorite animals and pets.

Countries and Cultures
July 6-July 9
Around the world in one week!
Investigate and celebrate our diverse world with us.

Stories and Writing
July 12-July 16
Everyone has a story to tell, and this week we will be sharing our favorite tales and writing a few original stories of our own.

Comedy and Drama
July 19-July 23
You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll be amazed at our stage talent as we act and perform. At the end of the week, join us for an afternoon performance and midsummer gathering!

Exciting Experiments
July 26-July 30
Discover some stimulating aspects of our world this week
by performing some shocking science experiments.

Music and Movement
August 2-August 6
This week everybody’s moving and everybody’s grooving to our favorite sounds and dances.

World of Numbers
August 9-August 13
Numbers are everywhere you look,
and we will uncover how they make our world work
and shape all that we see.

Sports and Games
August 16-August 20 (Aug. 20th ½ day ending at 12:30pm)
Team spirit and cooperation help make this week so thrilling. At the end of the week, join us for a summer send-off and potluck at 11:30am.
