Welcome to the Giddens Library
Giddens School is a diverse and progressive school committed to the full and balanced development of children from three to eleven. That's why our library media program dedicates itself to see that all students become effective users of ideas and information.

How many items can be checked out at once?
Preschoolers may check out three items, primary students can have up to five items, and parents may add three more above child's limit.
Can parents check out books?
Parents may check out three additional items, including CD-ROM and videos on their child's card.
What happens if a material is late damaged or lost?
There are no fines for overdue books, however access to additional resources will be denied until materials are returned. Please note minor damage from use when you return the material: if we can fix it, we will. If a book is lost or recklessly damaged, families may replace the book or pay the cost plus a $4 processing fee.
