Family Involvement

At Giddens, a child’s education is a partnership between the student, the student’s family, and the school. Family members are invited and encouraged to become actively involved in their child’s classroom and at the school.

Couples are asked to commit 30 hours of volunteer time per year, and single parents and guardians 15. In addition, families often volunteer to help with the annual fund drive or auction, helping the school raise funds for its extensive financial aid program. Families are also asked to contribute to fund-raisers as best they can.
