New Songs for Children
"Stevensongs" is a recording of children’s voices with jazz trio and a song book consisting of children's art, lyrics and music to 16 never-before-published songs, including (click titles to hear samples) "My Paperbag Hat", "The United States of the Blues", "One, Two Kangaroo" and "Children of the Light." This book and CD was produced by the Giddens School, of Seattle WA, to share the joyful songs and music created by director/performer Kent Stevenson for children. “Stevensongs” celebrates themes of social harmony and joy and will be of interest to music educators and families alike.
