Giddens Summer BLAST Camp
Students entering preschool – 5th grade can look forward to a fabulous summer of fun at Giddens Summer BLAST Camp! New friends, fascinating themes and field trips make Giddens a great place for children to explore all the fun that summer has to offer.
• Day Camp is 9am-3pm ($275 per week)
• AM Extended Day is 7:30am-9am ($50 per week)
• PM Extended Day is 3pm-6pm ($85 per week)
• There is a two week minimum registration.

Giddens Families: Register by April 13th and your child will have a guaranteed spot in Summer Camp for the weeks you register. After this date, enrollment will be limited. We encourage you to enroll by April 13th, as spaces fill up quickly and we usually run a waiting list.
6/25-29 Animal Planet (Exploration, Science) Slither, hop, crawl, swim and climb on over for this fantastic camp that explores a plethora of animals, creatures, and habitats.
7/2-7/6 (no camp on 7/4) Sensational Seattle! (Multiculturalism, Literacy) Come with us as we explore Seattle! We’ll tromp and push, poke and discover our way through this incredible week. 2 fieldtrip week for K-5’s. We’ll turn our adventures into poems and stories!
7/9-7/13 You’ve Got to Move It, Move It! (Music, Multiculturalism, Fine Arts, Movement) A daily dose of international beats, rhythms, dancing, stomping and rapping will spin our bodies and our imaginations this week! Join us for an adventure in all things music and move-move-moving.
7/16-7/20 Explorers Around the World (Multiculturalism, Social Studies, Literacy) Get ready to turn yourself into the ultimate explorers and be transported to different locations on our planet (and possibly further!)
7/23-7/27 The Olympics! (Sports, Culture, Gross Motor Skills Development) The 2012 World Olympics AND the Giddens Summer Camp Olympics will be opening this week!! Get ready to jump, hurdle, throw, and sprint your way through this week. Our Olympics also include games and challenges that will make your brain sparkle!
7/30-8/3 Science Exploration and Experiments (Science, Numeracy) Put on your goggles and prepare to experiment each and every day of this jam-packed camp of bubbling and bursting science, with just a dash of salt, agar and helium. Ooh, and tie-dye, anyone??
8/6-8/10 All the World’s a Stage (Drama, Fine Arts, Multiculturalism) Calling all actors, designers and costume makers! Our week will be overflowing with excitement, stories, paint and preparations for a Friday performance that is sure to knock the socks off of all who attend!
8/13-8/17 (half day on 8/17) To Infinity and Beyond! (Numeracy ) Spend a week playing with numbers. Scavenger hunts with equation clues? Yes please! We'll end the week by whipping up our own batch of edible solutions.
