"Books and Bytes" Children's Poetry: Diverse Voices

Parents, teachers and students are invited to talk about, listen to, and create poetry with an engaging panel of poets, including several Giddens community members, Poet Populist Cody Walker, poetry slam troupe Seattle Youth Speaks, and several Giddens parent-poets. "Seeds of Compassion" Monday, April 14th

Giddens students will attend the Children's Day of the "Seeds of Compassion" gathering. In preparation, classes have done individual and collective art and discussion projects along themes relating to this important element of learning.

Giddens School singers, under Kent Stevenson's direction, will join Washington Middle School and St Therese School choirs to perform as the opening of Children's Day at the "Seeds of Compassion" event at Key Arena.
