About the Library

The mission of our library and technology program is to ensure that all students are effective and productive users of ideas and information.

Our 21st century library provides so much more than just weekly class visits and student check-out. We collaborate with classroom teachers and help integrate online student research and presentation skills. Families actively use the library before and after school for additional books, videos, games, and music to enliven home literacy experiences.

  • Open to students and families from 8:00 to 4:00 Monday – Friday
  • Staffed by a lively librarian and valuable volunteers
  • Focus on multicultural and anti-bias titles
  • Parent and teacher resource collection
  • 3 computer workstations for instruction and research
  • Video and music collections

FAQs

How many items can be checked out at once?

Preschool students are allowed three, primary students are allowed 7, and parents may add more at any  time.

We ask that students and their families stop by to check-out videos, CD/DVDs, games or any other non-print materials.

What happens if a material is late damaged or lost?

While there are no fines for overdue books, we will limit access to additional materials until they are returned. Please note - minor damage incrued during student/family use will be fixed, if possible. However, if a book is lost or damaged beyond repair, families must either replace the book or pay to replace the book (plus all handling and shipping fees that may be involved).
