Program: Preschool – 5th grade with a current enrollment of 200.
Age Requirements: 2years 9months by September 1st for preschool.

School Hours:
Half Day Preschool and Pre-K        8:45 -12:30
Full Day Preschool – Kindergarten        8:45 - 3:00
Primary 1st - 5th Grades        8:45 - 3:15
Office Hours        8:00 - 4:00

Class Ratios: Preschool 12-14 students with 2 teachers; Pre-Kindergarten 14 students with 2 teachers; Kindergarten 15 students and primary grades 18 students with 1 teacher.

2009-2010 Tuition and Fees
 Families may elect to pay tuition monthly, quarterly, or annually.  The first payment is due on July 1.

Pre-school, full time: $ 12,895
Pre-school, part time: $10,325
Pre-K, full time: $14,560
Pre-K, part time: $11,650
K-5 : $14,560

Preschool Field Trip Fee    $60/year    Billed as field trips occur

Primary Field Trip Fee      $100-200/year    Billed as field trips occur

A nonrefundable deposit of $1000 is due with the returned contract. The deposit is deducted from the final tuition payment of the school year.  For financial aid recipients, the lesser of $1000 or 10% of their net tuition obligation is due.

Snacks and Lunch
Students bring snacks and lunches. The school provides afternoon snack for students in the after-school program.

Extended Day (Rainbow Kids’ Club)
7:30 - 8:45 AM: $5.00 flat rate
3:00 - 6:00 PM: $5.00 per pre-registered hour
Drop in rate: $10.00 per hour

After Giddens School
Our graduates attend a wide variety of middle schools, both public and non-public, in the greater Seattle area. Included among those schools are: Seattle Academy of Arts and Sciences, University Prep, Seattle Girls School, Lake Washington Girls School, The Bush School, Lakeside School, Billings Middle School, The Northwest School.
