Admissions Calendar

October 25, 2011: Tours begin. K-5 tours are held on Tuesdays at 9:00 a.m, and Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten tours are held on Thursdays at 9:00 a.m. Tours fill up quickly, so please sign up as soon as possible.
November 16, 2011: Open House for prospective families, 6:30-8:00 p.m. Sign up for childcare here.
November 20, 2011: Parent Coffee, 10:00 a.m. Parent Coffees are held at a current parent's home and are an informal way for prospective parents to learn about Giddens School by talking to current parents. For more details, please RSVP.
December 6, 2011: Signs of a Strong Elementary Program, 6:30-8:00 p.m. This is a presentation about what to look for in an elementary school. Please RSVP, and sign up for childcare if needed.
January 7, 2012: Open House for prospective families, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
January 12, 2012: New student application deadline. Applications will be accepted after this date on a rolling admissions basis.

February 3, 2012: Deadline for Teacher/Caregiver Reflection Form and Teacher Recommendation Form to be returned to Admissions Office. Deadline for Financial Aid applications.
January-February, 2012: Full-day visits for students applying to 1st -5th grade.
March 3, 2012: Visits for students applying to Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten.
March 15, 2012: Families will be notified about admissions decisions.
March 26, 2012: Contracts due.
